Diana AbuGhunmi

Dr. Diana AbuGhunmi (Director) is a senior academic and Fulbright Scholar (2015-2016), specialising in accounting and finance, statistics, and econometrics. Her pioneering academic research into modelling the circular economy has won professional acclaim following publication in numerous high quality journals.

A former Deputy Dean at the University of Jordan School of Business, Dr. AbuGhunmi has proven experience of handling large samples and datasets. Specialising in the advanced use of econometric techniques and quantitative models, Dr. AbuGhunmi's research includes the circular economy, asset pricing models, corporate finance, and environmental economics.

In 2015, Dr. AbuGhunmi was awarded a Fulbright Visiting Scholarship at Virginia Tech University in the US, where her work focused on sustainable development, studying the economic valuation of environmental issues such as natural resources depletion and pollution. Prior to this, Dr. AbuGhunmi worked for the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade, focusing on WTO trade agreements. She has also delivered numerous professional training and consultancy sessions on: economic feasibility studies; foreign direct investment; and SAS (statistical computing language).

Fluent in Arabic and English, Dr. AbuGhunmi holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from Durham University in the UK.
